The Midwest Chapter of International Women’s Insolvency & Restructuring Confederation (IWIRC) will host a four-part virtual series to connect practitioners in the insolvency and restructuring field to bankruptcy judges. Each session features one to two bankruptcy judges from across the nation to discuss various topics of interest, including best practices for Zoom hearings, multi-jurisdictional practice, procedural issues, and more!

The first session is scheduled for May 20, 2021 at 4 p.m. CST. The first session will feature Judge Anita Shodeen of the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of Iowa and Judge Mary Walrath of the United States Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware, who will be speaking on best practices for Zoom hearings. This is an informal question and answer format—audience questions are encouraged.

The event is free and will take place over Zoom on May 20, 2021 at 4:00 p.m. central. Register to attend at Be Connected: Conversations with the Court Tickets, Thu, May 20, 2021 at 4:00 PM | Eventbrite
