On June 14, 2017, Bradshaw attorneys Jason C. Palmer and Robert J. Thole successfully obtained a summary judgment ruling dismissing a lawsuit against an eastern Iowa County and that County’s county fair. Plaintiff brought a dram shop claim against the defendants for personal injuries she received while attending the fair. The Court ruled that plaintiff did not meet her burden to overcome the defendants’ argument that plaintiff could not establish the requirement for a dram shop claim under Iowa law.
