Bradshaw attorney Scott Wormsley defended the driver of an automobile that was backing out of an angled parking space in a small rural town. A collision ensued with a motorcycle. Plaintiff suffered a broken wrist and requested more than $50,000 from the jury for medical expenses, pain and suffering, and lost time from work. Plaintiff argued that the defendant failed to yield while exiting the parking stall. Scott Wormsley argued that defendant's vision was obscured by a parked vehicle with tinted windows and that the defendant acted reasonably in his driving prior to the collision. The jury issued a verdict in favor of the defendant. As such, no damages were awarded.
