Bradshaw attorney Scott Wormsley defended a landowner who had several horses escape from his property and cause an accident with a Freightliner semi-tractor. The allegations against the landowner were of negligence. A claim to the jury for property damage for the destroyed vehicle, personal injuries, and lost income totaling more than $100,000 was made. Scott Wormsley argued that the defendant's fences were well maintained and his gates were closed at all times relevant. The jury found in favor of the landowner and against the plaintiff. As such, no damages were awarded.
