On October 19, 2017, Bradshaw attorney Janice M. Thomas obtained a defense verdict as a result of a jury trial against an insurance company for underinsured motorist benefits. The jury returned a verdict that did not result in underinsured motorist benefits being owed and the matter was dismissed against the insurance company.
