Background

John came to the Bradshaw Law Firm in 1965, following his service as a Captain in the Army Judge Advocate General’s Corps, where he was an appellate advocate in the Government Appellate Division of the Army Judiciary. At the Bradshaw Law Firm, he has engaged in a general practice that has included the areas of corporate and commercial law, antitrust and trade regulation law, public utilities law, and business-related litigation. He is a former chair of the Section Council of The Iowa State Bar Association’s Trade Regulation Section, was the chair of its predecessor Trade Regulation Committee for its initial six years, and in the past has served on the Sherman Act Committee and the Private Antitrust Litigation Committee of the American Bar Association’s Section of Antitrust Law. He has also been active in other bar association committees and activities and in community service endeavors. He was the recipient of the President’s Award of The Iowa State Bar Association in 2006 in recognition of his service to the legal profession and the citizens of Iowa.
